In the spirit of
the Nipe Tano campaign, there are
various ways in which you can connect to Mombasa’s destiny:
1. You can register and encourage 5
other people to register alongside with you;
2. Give a Hi-5 to a leader who is
connecting people to their destiny, take a photo and submit it to our facebook,
twitter or blog. We can then begin to recognize and affirm diligent leaders in
the community.
3. Establish groups or cells of 5
people or multiples of 5 who commit to donate financially to the campaign e.g
10 friends who donate 250/- each week or 10 corporate friends who donate
10,000/- every week. You can then remit the funds using our “DONATE HERE” tab.
4. Get 5 friends to volunteer in the
campaign. You can find out what skills or time or expertise is required from
our “VOLUNTEER” tab.
5. Take a 5 minute video of a situation
in your community which focuses on one of the 5 areas:
a. Affirming family values as the firm
foundation of our homes
b. Enabling knowledge based, lifelong,
teaching and learning that will empower generations
c. Creating a lifestyle of well being
and care that will dignify lives
d. Facilitating economic growth through
investing in healthcare in order to be globally competitive
e. Establishing a City that relates on
the principle of neighbourhood that will enhance the art of life
Research,
shoot, write, edit. Use your smartphone or camcorder or flip camera. We are
looking for entries that are fair, accurate, interesting, and informative.
